Samsung Electro-Mechanics is a large manufacturer of electronic components for automobiles, computers, mobiles, and displays. The company produces passive components such as inductors, multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), and chip resistors, as well as camera and communication modules and substrates. The company originally started as a joint venture with Japanese company Sanyo.
