Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) is a shipbuilder and constructor of marine structures for oil and gas extraction. DSME used to be part of the Daewoo group before its collapse in 1999.

DSME is set to be acquired by Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (KSOE), a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, in 2020 upon approval from regulators in Korea, Europe, Japan, China, and Kazakhstan.
